Amazon cruise p2

Our last destination was Iquitos, for a five days Amazon river cruise on Cattleya, a small boat with only four cabins. With the whole wall being one big window, we could lie in bed and watch the river passing by. On activities, we enjoyed most the skiff rides on the smaller channels with almost black water, the jungle hike where we got to see poison frogs and a ginormous bird eater tarantula and the early morning kayaking with the pink river dolphins. While the river cruise was way more comfortable and luxurious than the Manu expedition, it lacked a bit the atmosphere and adventurous spirit of the first tour. But it had lots of river dolphins 🙂
