Seydisfjördur to Myvatn part 2

Afterwards we drive to lake Myvatn, having another lunch inside the car, too windy outside. Myvatn is a very pretty lake in the northeast, with lots of things to do and see around it. We get to see two more waterfalls on the way, the mighty Dettifoss where you get to have a shower in its spray and the smaller Selfoss close by. It’s getting late though never dark and we are getting tired, so we do one more stop at smelly Hverir with its steaming vents and bubbling mud pots and then drive to the prettiest campground possible, Bjarg. Directly at the lake, grassy hills and lots of midges eating ducklings around.
