Namib desert

I have been waiting a long long time to finally be deep in the Namib desert, especially after the private flight fiasco 9 years  ago (turned out I booked the wrong route..😳)

I was hoping in the last 9 years driving from Sossusvlei to Swapkomund would become a reality, still not allowed… we booked a local company, private tour 3 days, 2 nights, it was unforgettable driving though inhospitable endlessness.

Seeing the abandoned mining towns one understands the length we go to for a chance to wealth&survival…quite unbelievable it was a lagoon a fresh water there…

Deeper and souther you go in the desert the dunes become redder (older), the colors are just unbelievable.
