Buddha park

 only few km from Vinentiane (Lao’s capital), most probably the most important site to visit in the area, besides the shooting range in Vientiane, it consists in an interesting collection of statues from Buddhism and Hindu religions, most of them are on average of about 2m high but some are really impressive, as the huge laying Buddha.
the atmosphere in this park is surreal, being alone in this huge place with very very old and excellent preserved statues gives you a “ghostish” feeling so to speak
