Queen Elisabeth – balloon flight

Early morning we go for a balloon ride over the Savannah. We get very lucky and are the only passengers, the day before and after they had ten and more passengers. To balance the basket our armed guard is getting a ride for free which makes him super happy. It’s nice to see the park from above and how the animals move around in it. We even get to see a running hippo. Our pilot, Ragab enjoys the ride himself so much that we get to fly for almost 90min, usually it’s one hour only. We get up very high to see the outlines of the park and even Sabine, not liking heights much, enjoys to sink silently through clouds and watch the shadow of the ballon on them. The ballon ride ends with a very tasty bush breakfast, we even get our own chef to prepare omelettes for us.
